Old tradition, new direction
Every Indian home has that steel dabba of chivda. The one you raid with chai, on long journeys, at midnight. We loved it too much to leave it alone.
So we went back to the grain. Montello starts with jowar, one of India's oldest millets, and builds the crunch, colour and spice from there. No preservatives, no artificial colours, nothing you'd have to look up.

Jowar is sorghum, one of India's oldest millets and a staple across Maharashtra. It's naturally fibre-rich, gentle on digestion and has a lovely toasty, nutty taste, which makes it a far more interesting base for chivda than the usual suspects.
It's made for the whole family's snack box, with no preservatives or artificial colours. Do check the allergen note first: it may contain soy, tree nuts, wheat, cereals with gluten, sulphites and buckwheat. And keep portions kid-sized for little ones.
